About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist Cardio to join our team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist Cardio, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the multi-disciplinary healthcare team in clinical support functions and promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.
  • Provide care to patients under the direction of the RN in the Surgical Services suite.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments, and supplies needed for surgical cases.
  • Communicate, interact, and participate in teamwork on the unit to provide patient care.
  • Serve as the patient and family advocate with respect to patient's right to privacy by protecting confidential information.
Requirements
  • Graduation from Surgical Technician program is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) is required.
  • Previous scrubbing experience is preferred.
  • 1 year of experience preferred.
