Cashiers play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service by processing transactions efficiently and accurately. They are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized Self-Checkout area, proactively seeking product knowledge to assist customers, and following all policies and procedures to minimize shrinkage. A Head Cashier will oversee Cashiers, expediting price checks, approving transactions, and providing first-level escalation for customer issues. They will also assist in the supervision, coaching, and training of other Front End Associates by participating in new Cashier training and utilizing available tools to develop other Cashiers. The preferred qualification for a Head Cashier is 1+ years of Cashier experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale

• Maintain a clean and organized Self-Checkout area, ensuring a positive customer experience

• Proactively seek product knowledge to assist customers with their purchases

• Follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrinkage and ensure a secure environment

• Assist in the supervision, coaching, and training of other Front End Associates

Requirements:

• 1+ years of Cashier experience (preferred for Head Cashier)

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide support to colleagues
