We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team on a contract basis. As a member of our Mental Health Clinic, you will provide high-quality psychiatric services to our clients and consultation services to our Mental Health team.
This 15-hour-per-week contract position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a hybrid (in-person and telepsychiatry) setting. You will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners while working alongside a supportive and collaborative team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete initial psychiatric assessments
- Provide medication management services
- Monitor medication effectiveness and side effects
- Document in Electronic Health Record
Requirements:
- Valid California Medical License
- Current DEA License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible for Child & Adolescent
- Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficient in using modern office technology, equipment, and procedures
- Auto insurance liability coverage meeting minimum requirements
- Clear background check through FBI and state agencies
- Current TB Test (within the last 6 months)
