Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team in Los Angeles, CA.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified General Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in child and adolescent psychiatry and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment to clients of all ages
  • Prescribe and manage medication, order laboratory tests, and evaluate test results
  • Consult with clinical staff and other service providers regarding patient care and referral for follow-up
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment planning
  • Document services provided as required by the site
Requirements
  • Physician and Surgeon license issued by the Medical Board of California
  • Certificate of completion of a psychiatric residency training program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
  • Board eligibility or certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. (ABPN) in General Psychiatry
  • Certificate of current Controlled Substance Registration issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • Eligibility to participate in federally funded health care programs
Work Environment

The Psychiatrist will work in a clinical setting in Los Angeles, CA, and may be required to travel between sites at their own expense.

Compensation

The pay rate for this position is $235 per hour.
