Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Spa Sway (Westlake). As a key member of our medical spa team, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and providing patient care in consultation with and under the direct supervision of the attending Physician. You will perform clinical procedures under the direction of the Medical Director and according to approved protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, plan, and provide patient care in consultation with and under the direct supervision of the attending Physician.
  • Perform clinical procedures under the direction of the Medical Director and according to approved protocols.
  • Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their aesthetic goals, recommend suitable treatments, and provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Assess each client's unique facial anatomy, skincare type and concerns, and desired outcome to safely and expertly administer a range of aesthetic treatments, including injectable neurotoxins and fillers, broadband light (BBL) and nonabrasive laser treatments, and skinPen microneedling.
  • Educate clients on the treatment process, including pre-and post-treatment guidelines, personalized skincare, and product recommendations, and develop ongoing customized treatment plans together.
  • Proactively, within the context of individual client needs, cross-sell other aesthetic products and services on a consultative basis and advises clients on estimated expenses.
  • Conduct in-depth client interviews, including taking a medical history, explaining risks and benefits, and obtaining signed procedure consent.
  • Perform Good Faith Exams prior to initiating client procedures.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of the client's needs, preferences, treatment details, and progress in the client's treatment records.
  • Conduct client visits, examinations, and treatments according to accepted standards of care and within the definitions of the Texas Nursing Practice Act or Texas Medical Board.
  • Monitor and maintain all equipment, ensuring its cleanliness and proper functioning.
  • Ensure the upkeep, stock, and cleanliness of treatment rooms, including communicating with management on all necessary items for treatments.
  • Accurately and consistently track injectable, disposable, and retail stock, coordinating with management to ensure adequate stock of each.
  • Exhibit commitment to a learning culture, including remaining informed and up to date on the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in laser technology, injectables, and other aesthetic procedures.
  • Learn and maintain a basic knowledge of the other services offered by Spa Sway (Westlake) and provide patients with contact information upon request.
  • Practice client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and company policy.
  • In conjunction with the marketing department, be a social media rockstar, sharing success stories across social media platforms.
Requirements
  • Active and unrestricted NP or PA licensure that is valid in the state of Texas.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Number.
  • Current BLS-CPR for healthcare providers certification from AHA or Red Cross.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Aesthetic/Cosmetic Injector and certification of injector training.
  • 2+ years of client care experience in an outpatient clinic setting with marginalized populations.
  • 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience in medical spa procedures, including lasers, injections, and microneedling.
  • Laser Safety Officer training/certification.
