Job Details

At Jobot, we are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Associate to join our team. As a key member of our corporate law department, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on a wide range of corporate matters, including entity formation, commercial contracts, and legal issues.

Responsibilities:

1. Providing expert legal advice on entity formation, commercial contracts, and legal issues.
2. Leading and managing complex mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, debt offerings, equity offerings, and restructurings.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and legal documents.
4. Providing exceptional client service, including regular interaction with clients, understanding their needs, and providing strategic legal advice.
5. Leading teams and taking on significant responsibilities within the firm.
6. Participating in business development training to help grow the firm's client base.
7. Ensuring legal compliance across all corporate activities and providing legal assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will have a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school, a minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate law, and a strong track record of client interaction and exceptional client service. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent legal research and legal writing skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to work autonomously.
