Job Summary:

The Firebrand Hotel is seeking a Night Auditor to join our Front Desk Team. As a Night Auditor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the hotel's operations overnight, ensuring seamless guest experiences and accurate accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the hotel to all guests throughout their stay, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure all guestroom charges are posted nightly and proper credit is established for each guest.
  • Perform introductory accounting tasks, including data entry and reconciliation.
  • Determine a guest's reservation status and identify how long they will stay.
  • Help guests complete registration cards and assign rooms accommodating special requests whenever possible.
  • Communicate guest and room information to hotel personnel, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Outlook, Excel, and PMS system knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Sales-minded individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stay awake and focused throughout the night, maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in work procedures.
