Job Summary:

As a Certified Senior Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department. Your primary responsibility will be to assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints, and promoting a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records
Provide exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints, and promoting a positive shopping experience
Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company standards and regulations
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care
Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on pharmacy practices and procedures

Requirements:

PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico)
One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior work experience with Walgreens
Basic math skills (counting, measuring, and weighing medications)
Basic level PC skills (starting and shutting down computer, using mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing documents, and accessing information online)
Knowledge of store inventory control
