NORTH SUFFOLK COMMUNITY SERVICES INC is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Program Manager to join our team.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the needs of individuals living in our group homes are met. This includes supervising staff, implementing ISP and clinical plans, promoting community integration, and maintaining a safe environment.

We offer a competitive salary of $56,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, train, direct, counsel, discipline, and evaluate the performance of Group Home DSP Staff.
  • Work with staff to ensure clients participate in recreational and community activities.
  • Maintain positive communication with family members who are involved in their loved one's life.
  • Provide crisis intervention and emergency coverage as needed.
  • Transport individuals as required.
  • Be available for on-call shifts and occasional evening/weekend work.
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, client functions, and medical appointments.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Three years of related direct support experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skills: Must obtain Massachusetts MAP & CPR/First Aid certifications within five months of hire; valid Mass driver's license required.
