Role Summary:

In the capacity of a Waste Collection Vehicle Operator within our environmental services sector, you will be instrumental in the collection and transport of refuse and recyclables from both residential and commercial sites.

Primary Duties:

  • Safely maneuver waste collection trucks, including rear and front loaders.
  • Gather and convey refuse and recyclables along assigned routes.
  • Adhere to all safety measures and organizational guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
  • Keep precise records of routes, services rendered, and any challenges faced.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to our clientele.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid CDL Class B license with an impeccable driving history.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in waste management or a related industry.
  • In-depth understanding of local and federal transportation laws.
  • Capability to operate waste collection vehicles and associated equipment.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
