Role Purpose:

The primary objective of this role is to manage and oversee the records associated with the Environmental Compliance program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist program personnel with administrative tasks, including correspondence, budgeting, record management, calendar coordination, and tracking deadlines.
  • Ensure environmental records are maintained in compliance with established government-approved filing systems.
  • Conduct regular audits of environmental records to verify accuracy and compliance, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and maintain essential reports and records for both internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Engage in environmental meetings and document meeting minutes as required.
  • Independently manage projects that involve research and the creation of presentation materials.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in environmental science, management, chemistry, biology, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Successful completion of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.
  • Ability to pass a drug/alcohol test and a criminal background check is required.

Training Requirements:
