Health and Welfare: $4.41/hr up to 40 hours per week

Role Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to manage and oversee the records associated with the Environmental Compliance program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist program personnel with administrative tasks, including correspondence, budgeting, record management, calendar coordination, and tracking deadlines.
- Ensure environmental records are maintained in compliance with established government-approved filing systems.
- Conduct regular audits of environmental records to verify accuracy and compliance, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and maintain essential reports and records for both internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Engage in environmental meetings and document meeting minutes as required.
- Independently manage projects that involve research and the creation of presentation materials.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A degree in environmental science, management, chemistry, biology, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Successful completion of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check is required.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project is essential.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug/alcohol test and a criminal background check is required.

- Complete all assigned tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate professionalism and skill in interactions with customers and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records for efficient information retrieval.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and follow up on outstanding items.

Training Requirements:
- Participation in all necessary training sessions, including safety and environmental management training as mandated by the supervisor.
