Position Summary:
Thrifty White Pharmacy is a fully employee-owned mid-sized pharmacy chain dedicated to serving small towns and cities across the rural Midwest. Our core mission is to enhance patient care through innovative, technology-driven health services aimed at improving health outcomes, reducing overall care costs, and supporting patients in leading longer, healthier lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Promote Thrifty White initiatives such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, assisting patients with enrollment.
- Guide the pharmacy team by exemplifying high standards in patient service and providing coaching.
- Organize and streamline workflows for efficient prescription processing, patient counseling, and clinical service delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with long-term care facilities, ensuring prompt communication and addressing their needs.
- Identify opportunities in Long Term Care and Specialty business and relay these to marketing teams.
- Dispense medications and related supplies while providing comprehensive clinical pharmacy services.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this role require the ability to stand for extended periods. Employees must frequently communicate verbally, utilize hands for handling objects, and reach with arms. Additionally, the role may require lifting or moving items weighing up to 40 pounds. Vision capabilities necessary for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a pharmacy license or eligibility to obtain one without federal sanctions.
- A PharmD or MTM Certification (proof of completion from an accredited ACPE program required).
- Current Immunization Certification.
- Current CPR Certification.
- NPI Number.
