These professionals will be assigned to one of our upscale properties to oversee the exterior of the building, deter potential threats, and, most importantly, report any unusual activities.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Security Specialist to monitor our facilities and ensure the safety of our employees and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying any suspicious actions and preventing vandalism, theft, or other unlawful activities.
Officers are responsible for safeguarding our premises, assets, and personnel. You will maintain a highly visible presence to deter illegal or inappropriate conduct. The objective is to detect, deter, observe, and report.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and authorize the entry of vehicles and individuals onto the property while adhering to established protocols for granting access to visitors, vendors, and contractors.
2. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to uphold order and establish a visible presence.
3. Observe for indications of criminal activity or disorder and investigate any disturbances.
4. Safeguard the company's property and personnel by ensuring a secure environment.
5. Maintain accurate records of any unusual incidents.
6. Patrol the building and its perimeter either randomly or on a set schedule.
7. Control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
8. Monitor alarm systems or surveillance cameras and operate detection/emergency equipment.
Qualifications:
1. Possess a valid Security D License.
2. Hold a valid Driver's License.
3. Exhibit strong customer service skills.
4. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
5. Capable of operating detection systems and emergency equipment.
6. Comprehensive understanding of public safety and security protocols.
7. Detail-oriented with strong surveillance skills.
8. Exhibit integrity and professionalism.
The physical and mental demands of this position may include the following: clear vision, hearing, speaking, and writing. Frequent sitting, standing, and walking may be required for extended periods.
