This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Lead project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight for water/wastewater projects, including treatment plants, pipelines, and pumping stations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, proposals, and technical documents.
  • Implement and oversee quality control and assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet high standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures as needed.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and address project risks and issues as they arise.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in managing water/wastewater projects.
  • Strong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes, pipeline design, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
