Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Brookdale Premier Addiction Recovery. As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and clean all areas of the facility, including floors, walls, windows, and bathrooms
  • Restock bathroom supplies and maintain a clean and organized linen closet
  • Operate various types of cleaning equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums
  • Clean and maintain assigned housekeeping closets and carts
  • Collect and transport infectious and non-infectious waste, and sanitize all garbage cans
  • May climb ladders or reach high areas for cleaning purposes
  • May collect hazardous waste and transport it to the appropriate compactor
  • Shampoo and retract carpets and furniture
  • Remove soiled linens from patient beds and transport them to the soiled holding area
  • Apply clean linens to sanitized patient beds
  • Collect and transport bulk soiled linen throughout the facility
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
