Cleaning Crew Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Crew member to join our team at Taco Cabana. As a Cleaning Crew member, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our restaurants, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow and maintain our cleaning standards and procedures.
  • Ensure all trash and recyclables are disposed of properly.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen and cooking equipment, as well as dust and clean windows, counters, tables, and woodwork.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms, perimeter of the building, and parking lot.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to complete cleaning tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Follow proper food and health safety procedures and protocols.
  • Perform duties as directed by management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cleaning and sanitation is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively with team members.
  • Professional appearance and conduct are essential.
  • Must be thorough and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to adapt and take direction.
  • Must be able to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and initiative are required.
  • Must be a team player and good communicator.
  • Must be able to lift and carry sacks, cases, and bus tubs of up to 70 lbs, up to 20 times per shift.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.
  • Must be able to walk and stand during the entire shift.
