Quality Technician

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily inspections and comparisons of print tickets/jobs to ensure files are error-free using Global Vision.
  • Collaborate with production, finishing, customer service, and shipping teams to meet customer requirements and specifications.
  • Perform quality calibrations as stated in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Verify certificates of compliance (COCs) and maintain records for customer specifications.
  • Conduct process and documentation audits as required.
  • Perform incoming visual/dimensional (V&M) inspections, in-process (SPC) sampling, and final batch sampling using acceptance sampling plans and table usage.
  • Investigate complaints and maintain RA/NC/MD/CM spreadsheets. Disposition non-conforming material and review data, generating Pareto charts for distribution.
  • Maintain Certificates of Analysis (COAs); SOP reviews; obsolete forms; pest control programs; and environmental programs.
  • Work with sales and engineering staff to maintain bottle cabinets for functionality testing.
  • Send supplier surveys and collaborate with purchasing to decrease quality issues.
  • Create and conduct cGMP annual training.
  • Maintain Quality Manuals.
  • Adhere to all SOPs related to job functions and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
  • Comply with all company policies.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Computer knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Takes initiative and meets deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently from general instructions and problem-solve.
  • Able to discuss technical problems with managers, engineering, or purchasing staff.
  • Ability to analyze results and identify out-of-control conditions, processes, and trends.
  • Strong math, grammar, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in the use of mechanical inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, densitometers, and barcode verifiers.
  • Understanding of quality and/or printing processes and procedures preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
