Job Overview

The Dakota County Community Development Agency (CDA) is in search of a dedicated Site Attendant for the Rivertown Court Senior Building. This role involves a commitment of 5 hours per week, offering a competitive starting wage of $14.75 per hour.

Position Details: This is an on-site role. Candidates must either currently reside at the facility or be prepared to live on-site to qualify for this position. Those eligible for the CDA's Senior Housing Program will undergo a screening process, with rent determined by program guidelines. Non-eligible applicants will be subject to a flat rent structure and tenant screening protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Snow and Ice Management:
  • Ensure safety by removing snow and ice from common areas, including sidewalks and entrances.
  • Utilize provided equipment for effective snow removal and salting.
  • Communicate with the Property Manager regarding treatment needs for the parking lot.
2. Effective Communication:
  • Maintain a respectful and positive demeanor in all interactions.
  • Exhibit accountability and good judgment in decision-making.
  • Respond promptly to supervisors and complete necessary documentation.
3. Positive Representation:
  • Act as a positive ambassador for the CDA to residents and visitors.
  • Foster good relationships with CDA staff and contractors.
4. Administrative Duties:
  • Report resident concerns to the Property Manager.
  • Assist in coordinating community room reservations for CDA events.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance:
  • Perform cleaning duties in common areas as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
6. Grounds Maintenance:
  • Conduct light lawn care and ensure the grounds are free of debris.
7. Light Repairs:
  • Conduct routine checks on safety equipment and report any issues.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirement: Must reside on-site.

Preferred Experience: Background in cleaning, housekeeping, or light maintenance.

Skills:
  • Knowledge of maintenance tools and cleaning practices.
  • Ability to operate light equipment and perform physical tasks.
