At Great Wolf Resorts, the Culinary Team Member thrives in a dynamic and vibrant setting, dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality. This role involves preparing meals for guests while adhering to the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the daily operations of the kitchen align with established procedural guidelines.
  • Execute food preparation tasks for a variety of ingredients including fruits, vegetables, meats, and seafood.
  • Prepare all menu items according to recipe specifications, adjusting flavors as necessary with guidance from the head chef.
  • Maintain the kitchen area to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of dishes and utensils, keeping all kitchenware clean and sanitary.
  • Monitor inventory levels in the kitchen and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Oversee equipment functionality, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and request repairs when necessary.
  • Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Some High School education or equivalent.
  • Flexibility in scheduling based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Desired Qualifications & Traits

  • Enrollment in or willingness to pursue a culinary degree.
  • Previous experience in a cooking role.
  • Understanding of sanitation practices and the importance of maintaining a clean food preparation area.
