Responsibilities:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will take on a leadership role within the healthcare team at Novant Health, establishing authentic, personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. This role involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote optimal health outcomes or support a peaceful transition.
Utilizing evidence-based practices and compassion, the Clinical Nurse Specialist will guide patients through their healthcare journeys. This position entails accepting responsibility, authority, and accountability for the management and delivery of care in alignment with current policies and procedures.

Key Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Current valid nursing license in North Carolina or Multi-State/Compact required.
- One year of relevant experience preferred.
Important Notes:
If your nursing license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more, and you have not been licensed in another state during that time, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. To be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
