Charge Nurse

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Charge Registered Nurse to join our Neuro-MedSurg team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing the daily activities of the unit on an assigned shift to ensure successful and safe delivery of care.

• Rounds on every patient daily to evaluate quality and appropriateness of patient care, including corrective action when needed.
• Performs or provides oversight for the Nursing Process, utilizing evidence-based practice and analytical/critical thinking to ensure individualized and coordinated care.
• Provides or provides oversight for relationship-based care delivery, partnering with patients and significant others to achieve optimal patient care outcomes.
• Practices using current clinical practice standards, with a focus on safety and quality.

• Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing as an Associate Degree/Diploma Nurse or Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
• Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor certification.
• Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact license.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience, with experience as relief charge with clinical expertise preferred.
