  • Operational knowledge of ENG/IPNG live vehicles.
  • Experience with CBNG Packs, showcasing a strong background in live broadcasting technology.
  • Creative ability to capture compelling short and long-form news packages.
  • Strong command of three-point lighting techniques to enhance visual storytelling.
  • High proficiency in video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere.
  • Collaborate with news management to strategize and fulfill ENG requirements.
  • Adaptability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Deliver high-quality content under pressure and within tight deadlines.

Compensation

Salary Range: $90,000 - $103,000

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to join the IBEW Union.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in television news, preferably in a top 10 market.
  • Ability to perform under stress and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and independent working skills.
  • Exceptional storytelling abilities with sound news judgment.
  • In-depth experience (2+ years) with Adobe Premiere or similar non-linear editing systems.
  • Solid understanding of computer workflows and digital video codecs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of management.
  • Physical capability to carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess unrestricted work authorization in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
