Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform cleaning and servicing of designated rooms or areas in accordance with established standards, which includes making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
  2. Ensure all amenities and supplies are replenished and that any kitchen areas, including refrigerators and coffee makers, are cleaned and maintained.
  3. Notify the supervisor upon completion of cleaning tasks to facilitate room availability for guests.
  4. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  5. Address guest inquiries and special requests, ensuring that corrective actions are taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
  6. Manage supplies and amenities efficiently to minimize waste in all housekeeping areas.
  7. Handle lost and found items according to established protocols.
  8. Collaborate with team members and other departments to promote quality service and teamwork.
  9. Assist with deep cleaning projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic literacy and numeracy skills are required. Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred, along with the ability to communicate effectively in English. This position involves working outdoors for a significant portion of the day.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, moving, and handling of objects and equipment.
  • Regular bending, stooping, and kneeling.

Work Schedule:

Availability to work weekends and holidays is essential.

The hourly wage for this position is competitive, with potential eligibility for a signing bonus after a specified period of employment.
