Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing day-to-day operations, including supervising daily F&B shift operation and ensuring compliance with all F&B policies, standards, and procedures.
- Support and supervise an effective monthly self-inspection program, operating all department equipment as necessary and reporting malfunction.
- Supervise staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
- Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members, developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
- Celebrate and foster decisions that result in successes as well as failures, communicating areas that need attention to staff and following up to ensure understanding.
- Coordinate cleaning program in all F&B areas, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements.
- Follow property-specific second effort and recovery plan, staying readily available and approachable for all team members.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the brand-specific service culture.
- High school diploma or GED; 3 years of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
