Position Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a reputable organization in the Portland, Oregon area, seeking a Financial Accounts Coordinator to become part of their team on a temp to hire basis. The ideal candidate will possess over 3 years of experience in accounts payable and demonstrate proficiency in relevant software applications. This role is perfect for individuals eager to contribute to a rapidly growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process and input invoices into the accounting system, ensuring accurate coding to the appropriate expense accounts.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and journal entries associated with accounts payable.
  • Prepare and execute electronic transfers, payments, and check runs.
  • Monitor accounts to guarantee timely payments and adherence to terms.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable.
  • Strong grasp of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication abilities.

Compensation Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
