The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is an integral part of a healthcare team, providing clinical support and patient care in an ambulatory setting. If you are a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, this role may be a great fit for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties, including vital signs, injections, and other procedures, under the supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner.
- Assist with front office duties, such as scheduling appointments and handling patient communications.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide excellent patient care and customer service.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) certification.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an ambulatory care environment.
