Position Overview
The Solar Energy Sales Specialist is responsible for generating their own sales leads and conducting in-home presentations on our innovative solar solutions. The primary goal is to establish meaningful connections with potential clients, helping them understand how solar energy can be a beneficial option for their homes and families. If you enjoy engaging with customers face-to-face and find excitement in working in the field, this role is designed for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective self-generated sales strategies to secure leads and appointments with prospective clients.
- Deliver an exceptional customer sales experience from the initial contact through to installation and beyond.
- Conduct comprehensive in-home sales presentations, assessing clients' knowledge and needs while fostering long-lasting relationships.
- Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to installation, ensuring timely follow-ups with all leads and consultations.
- Accurately track and report outcomes using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Achieve minimum sales targets as established by sales leadership.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in sales and/or lead generation, with a preference for in-home sales experience.
- Must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaborating across departments to meet customer needs.
- Willingness to travel within the local market based on business requirements.
- Intermediate proficiency with technology, including the use of an iPad/computer and various software applications (experience with CRM systems is advantageous).
