Key Responsibilities- Evaluate electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters to identify issues, assess safety, and ensure system compatibility.
- Record actions, testing outcomes, observations, final assessments, and resolutions for each task.
- Address electrical problems by replacing or installing components, wiring, or devices.
- Perform conduit bending as required.
- Identify necessary steps to evaluate electrical situations utilizing testing instruments, blueprints, and schematics.
- Ensure a safe working environment by following all company policies and OSHA regulations, including reporting any policy violations to the supervisor.
- Utilize ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and lifts to work on electrical systems in various settings.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, assess the safety of the situation, and provide guidance to those affected to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues to the supervisor.
Required:
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.
- Current (unexpired) California Journeyman Electrician Card.
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to interpret blueprints.
- Valid state license.
Preferred:
- Prior experience with commercial and telecommunication electrical systems.
