Genomics Specialist

Gardant Health is looking for a skilled Bioinformatics Scientist to join our team. The role involves working on the development of next-generation sequencing (NGS) based diagnostic assays for oncology. As a member of our follow-on CDx team, you will contribute to the design and execution of experiments to support regulatory submissions.
You will work closely with our Technology Development team to troubleshoot and analyze verification and validation experiments, and develop software tools to automate analytical procedures. You will also write and design experimental protocols and reports, and propose and present detailed designs and concise, well-written reports to cross-functional teams.
Additionally, you will conduct feasibility analyses, including simulations drawing from a rich database of historical test results and evaluation of external technologies. You will leverage cutting-edge AI methods to streamline analytical workflows and continuously improve submission efficiency and efficacy.
We offer a competitive salary range of $84,500 - $114,100, a hybrid work model, and access to cutting-edge technologies and resources to support your growth and development. We also provide mentorship and opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
Requirements:- PhD/Master's level with 0-2/4-6+ years related industry experience.
- Experience with experimental design and associated statistical analysis.
- Experience with Python programming and Python data analysis libraries and tools.
- Ability to develop analyses, models, reproducible code, and reports with Python.
- Familiarity with data science software development practices and genomic diagnostics.
