The Presbyterian Healthcare Services Medical Oncology Clinic is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN in this role, you will provide direct patient care in the acute care setting of the emergency department or inpatient area, utilizing various nursing skills and established standards of care at the direction of a registered nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the acute care setting, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse Permit.
- BLS Certification required at time of hire.
