Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Liaison to join our team at AndHealth. As a Pharmacy Liaison, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients have access to the medications they need to manage their chronic health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with patients to complete benefits verification and assist with identifying appropriate secondary coverage.
  • Verify insurance coverage and medication formulary restrictions, and work with providers to address any issues.
  • Assist patients with prior authorizations or appeals necessary to ensure medication access.
  • Regularly communicate with patients regarding their medication utilization and ongoing needs, and work with in-house or contract pharmacies to ensure timely fills and deliveries.
  • Consult with pharmacists or providers regarding patient clinical needs, and route all clinical interventions or counseling to a licensed clinician for completion.
  • Document all patient communication in specialty pharmacy software, and generate reports to identify new patients, upcoming medication needs, and adherence-related data.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including collecting vitals, updating labs, and printing orders for tests such as chest x-rays or bone scans.
  • Manage patient medical referrals for specialty care, and assist with installing and logging into the AndHealth app on patients' mobile devices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician in the state of OH required.
  • Nationally certified - PTCB or ExCPT preferred.
  • Must be willing to obtain and maintain licenses or certifications in multiple states.
