About the Role

We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Division Director of Health Services and Outcomes Research at Children's Mercy Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our health services and outcomes research division, fostering collaborative ties with our pediatric enterprise, and ensuring the welfare and improved health of children in our region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the educational, research, and quality missions of the Health Services and Outcomes Research division
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance health services and outcomes research
  • Foster collaborative ties with the pediatric enterprise to ensure the welfare and improved health of children
  • Oversee the development and implementation of research studies, including study design, data collection, and analysis
  • Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to advance health services and outcomes research
Requirements
  • MD/DO/PhD or equivalent degree
  • Current academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor
  • Strong record of clinical and academic achievement in health care sciences
  • Demonstrated interest in advancing research as it pertains to division activities and interactions with the broader Children's Mercy community
