About the Role

Lennar is seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee the construction process and ensure high-quality products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing construction staff, supervising trade partners, and maintaining quality control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct all aspects of construction, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Supervise senior construction managers and warranty performance, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct field meetings with trade partners, construction staff, and sales staff to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
  • Manage departmental performance against agreed targets and budgets, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Organize and prioritize work activities, utilizing efficient time management skills to meet deadlines and stay on schedule.
  • Ensure that reporting associates follow Lennar's policies and procedures, providing training and support as needed.
  • Interview and recruit construction team members, ensuring the right talent is in place to drive success.
  • Enforce upper management directives and resolve miscellaneous problems, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project/construction management in residential construction required.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in directing and supervising construction staff.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record and valid auto insurance coverage.
  • Advanced knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and document management.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office products (Word and Excel).
  • Excellent follow-up, communication (written and verbal), and time management skills.
