We are seeking a skilled Nurse Birthing Specialist to join our team at ECHN. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care to mothers and newborns in our Family Birthing Center.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, and a commitment to providing age-appropriate care to patients served.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and re-assessments of maternal and newborn condition and care needs.
  • Develop and revise individualized plans of care based on assessment and patient response to treatment.
  • Evaluate overall plan daily for effectiveness and involve patients and families in formulation of goals.
  • Follow evidence-based standards and pursue personal and professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with current licensure in the state of Connecticut.
  • Certification in ACLS, NRP, and Electronic Fetal Monitoring within a year after hire date.
  • Labor and delivery experience preferred.

We offer a competitive salary of $$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
