Amergis is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Education Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing consultation, training, and behavioral evaluations to support individuals with academic and behavioral deficits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consultation and Training: Provide expert consultation and training to school staff on effective applied behavior analysis techniques, ensuring treatment integrity and supporting professional growth.
  • Behavioral Evaluations: Conduct functional behavior assessments and educational assessments to accurately identify the function of challenging behavior and socially valid, pivotal behaviors to target.
  • Behavior Intervention Plans: Develop and implement behavior intervention plans that address the needs and abilities of students, utilizing non-aversive behavior change methods.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report data and other documentation within established time frames to ensure program validity and efficacy.
  • IEP Meetings: Attend and present behavioral progress at IEP meetings, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Certification: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Education: Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs and services in schools, with a minimum of one year of pediatric experience.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, proficiency in the English language, and computer proficiency.
