Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Synchrony Health Services. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will provide therapeutic interventions under the direction of a physical therapist in an interdisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic interventions as directed by the physical therapist in campus locations, home health, and/or outpatient care.
  • Travel to other locations, including overnight stays, in a designated territory.
  • Evaluate patient response to treatment and provide feedback to the team.
  • Document patient care, including progress made and continuing need for treatment.
  • Collaborate with the physical therapist to develop new methods of delivering education to patients and family.
  • Assist the physical therapist in providing in-service/cross-training on physical therapy knowledge and skill areas as needed.
  • Contribute to the delivery of cost-effective care.
  • Report any complaints or grievances made by residents to the Rehab Program Director or Director of Health Services.
  • Report incidents or suspected incidents of resident abuse to the Rehab Program Director/Director of Health Services and/or the Executive Director immediately.
  • Comply with all resident rights per the company's Resident Rights Policy.
  • Maintain professional/technical competencies and proficiencies for job responsibilities.
  • Participate in survey preparation activities.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree
  • 0-1 years of experience
  • Current CPR Certification for healthcare providers through CPR training that includes hands-on practice and in-person skills assessment preferred
