Job Description

Leaf Home, a leading provider of technology-driven home solutions, is seeking a skilled Operations Manager to join its team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for managing and growing assigned sales territories through effective leadership of independent contractor Sales Representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Sales Representatives to achieve defined sales metrics in assigned territories.

  • Collaborate with the Installation team to ensure accurate sales orders, timely product installation, and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize productivity and sales effectiveness.

  • Provide customer and sales support by responding to customer inquiries and requests.

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and retain direct sales representatives.

  • Perform ride-along with sales representatives to provide coaching and feedback on sales performance.

  • Complete in-home sales consultations with potential customers as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Prior experience in a direct sales role or equivalent.

  • Ability to follow defined sales process performing in-home sales consultations.

  • Ability to travel in local market including evenings and weekends.

  • Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.

  • Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, email, and social media avenues.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, recognize, understand, and manage one's own emotions as well as others, and foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Holding oneself responsible and being self-driven in accomplishing business goals, adhering to policies, and being responsible for one's own actions, performance, and decisions.

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
