About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dining Services Coordinator to join our team at Sagelife. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and hospitable dining experience for our residents and their guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice The Sage Way and live the values of our organization by demonstrating a commitment to exceptional service, teamwork, and respect for residents, their families, and colleagues.
  • Ensure Dining Room Operations are conducted safely and meet sanitation guidelines, and that the dining room is clean and well-organized, with equipment properly maintained.
  • Train and Orient Dining Room Staff on service standards and company policies and procedures.
  • Manage Dining Room Staff to ensure adequate staffing and that staff are meeting service standards and dressed appropriately.
  • Ensure a Hospitable Dining Experience by monitoring cleanliness, lighting, linens, utensil quality and placement, and background music.
  • Monitor Resident Intake and Food Preferences and communicate any issues to the Health & Wellness Director.
  • Coordinate Room Service Trays with Resident Assistants.
  • Stay Current with Training and maintain all state and facility required annual training.
Requirements
  • Education: High school or GED equivalent minimum, Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Three years as a dining room supervisor in an upscale restaurant.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to speak, read, and understand English at a 12th grade level or higher, familiarity with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Licensures and Certifications: ServSafe Certification(s), Current First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 pounds without assistance, able to hear, speak, bend, stoop, stand, reach as needed, able to carry out responsibilities according to company or state guidelines and with limited or no supervision.
