Senior Thermal Systems Engineer

An innovative organization is looking for a Senior Thermal Systems Engineer to enhance their team. This position will focus on the Commercial Architecture sector, particularly in Power and Platform Architecture.
The selected candidate will collaborate with a team of engineers to devise engineering solutions for mechanical and thermal hardware, electronic enclosures, and production tooling in accordance with established guidelines and practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing testing parameters for both new and existing designs, ensuring validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, safety, and reliability.
- Working in conjunction with mechanical and electrical engineers to create optimal platform design architecture and explore new proof of concept ideas utilizing the latest technologies based on market demands.
This role requires onsite presence at the designated location three days a week, with an hourly compensation range reflective of experience.

Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in an engineering capacity focused on designing mechanical systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Thermal Fluids.
- Proficiency in thermal CFD modeling tools such as Flotherm and Ansys.
- Experience in designing fans, heat pipes, and vapor chambers.
- Strong knowledge of electronics packaging from an engineering perspective.
- Ability to correlate skin temperature, acoustics, and system performance.
- Capability to utilize CFD and thermal mockups for validating thermal solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of computer and PC architecture.
