Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Longwood, Florida. As an Occupational Therapist with LHC Group, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role:

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments, and adaptive equipment. You will work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care that promote independence and quality of life for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patient's functional status and occupational therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of Florida
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle
