Job Summary

Hospice Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) provide personal care and support patients in end-of-life care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Their primary responsibility is to assist with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and dignity of terminally ill patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Provide emotional support and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive patient information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and meet regulatory requirements.
RequirementsEducation and Experience
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • 6 months of experience in hospice care or a related field.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Current CNA certification.
  • HeartSaver CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to handle confidential information.
