Job SummaryThis role requires a skilled professional to work in Tippecanoe County and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for home visits, participation in DCS case planning, supervised visitation, and coordination of services. They will also facilitate transportation, participate in Child and Family Team meetings, and provide advocacy and family assessment. Additionally, they will develop structure/time management, behavior modification, budgeting/money management, meal planning/preparation, and parent training with children present.

Responsibilities
  • Provide home visits and participate in DCS case planning
  • Facilitate transportation and supervise visitation
  • Coordinate services and manage conflict
  • Provide emergency/crisis services and child development education
  • Deliver domestic violence education and parenting education/training
  • Develop family communication and facilitate support groups
  • Participate in Child and Family Team meetings and family reunification/preservation
  • Provide Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) support and foster family support
  • Offer advocacy and family assessment
  • Develop structure/time management and behavior modification
  • Budget/money management, meal planning/preparation, and parent training with children present
  • Monitor Progress of Parenting Skills and Community Services Information
  • Develop Long and Short-Term Goals, tutoring*, Father's Engagement Services*, Truancy Termination Classes, Mentoring, Independent Living Skills, Transport clients (goal-oriented), High School Credit Recovery, Participation in Court Hearings, Document client Progress Notes and Reports in the company database, Consistent Communication with Referring Sources
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $41,600-$57,200. The pay is based on full-time hours worked plus overtime. The ideal candidate will also have access to benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a directly related human services field
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a directly related human services field
  • Must pass all background checks, including National FBI Check, National Sex Offender Check, Child Protective Services Check, and Local Background Checks
  • Must pass all drug screens
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must have a reliable vehicle with the ability to use private car to transport self and others
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Must be able to have a flexible schedule
  • The Employee is responsible for obtaining Automobile insurance coverage ($100,000/$300,000)
