We are currently in search of a skilled and experienced Underground Utilities Estimator to manage sewer, water, storm drain, and site utility projects. As a trusted construction firm with a dedicated Underground Division, we seek a highly capable and experienced Project Manager/Estimator who not only meets the required qualifications but also has a strong desire to advance within the company. Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize construction management software to generate precise estimates, with a willingness to learn our specific systems.
  • Develop and monitor project budgets throughout the construction phase.
  • Review and interpret project contracts to fully understand the scope of work and requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather essential information for estimates and workflow.
  • Analyze blueprints, schematics, and other documentation to create accurate cost projections.
  • Uphold high standards of workmanship that comply with original plans and specifications.
  • Supervise and mentor junior estimators within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in construction management.
  • Demonstrated experience in estimating.
  • Experience with Heavy Underground Wet Utilities projects, including:
  1. Sewer
  2. Water
  3. Storm Drain
  4. Site Utilities
Familiarity with construction management software.Strong leadership and negotiation skills.Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
