Construction Estimator

A&R Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Underground Utilities Construction Supervisor to oversee sewer, water, storm drain, and site utility projects. This role involves both job estimating and division supervision, and we are looking for a hardworking and honest individual seeking a long-term career opportunity.

We are a trusted Construction company with an Underground Division, and are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and competent Project Manager / Estimator who not only possesses the required skills and qualifications, but also has a desire to grow with the business. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing project budgets and monitoring expenses throughout the construction process.
• Reviewing and interpreting project contracts to understand scope of work and requirements.
• Collaborating with project managers, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. to gather necessary information for estimates and workflow.
• Analyzing blueprints, schematics, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost projections.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
• Supervising and mentoring junior estimators on the team.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Previous experience in construction management.
• Previous experience in estimating.
• Previous experience in Heavy Underground Wet Utilities projects.

Familiarity with construction management software, strong leadership qualities, strong negotiation skills, and deadline and detail-oriented are also essential.
