Position Overview:
The Systems Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the technical stability and performance of our clients' systems. Utilizing your extensive product expertise, you will provide insights and recommendations to enhance platform efficiency, focusing on District Defend architectures and best practices to help clients achieve their objectives and maximize the benefits of District Defend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary point of contact for customer escalations and manage accounts within complex Government enterprise frameworks.
- Demonstrate proficiency with endpoint technologies, including but not limited to Bitlocker, user profiles, registries, certificate management, UEFI, and both virtual and physical networking.
- Apply knowledge of Windows domain fundamentals, such as domain controllers, Active Directory Site and Services, replication, Group Policy Objects, and ADFS.
- Utilize advanced features of Windows 10, including Kiosk Mode, Unified Write Filters, and Windows Defender integration.
- Possess a solid understanding of software development processes and technical environments.
- Exhibit familiarity with networking principles, including DNS and DHCP.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Maintain a Secret clearance and possess a Bachelor's degree.
- Hold PKI Certification, covering VPN, IPSec, or SSL.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience in technical support, professional services, and systems administration or engineering.
- More than 5 years of experience managing strategic accounts in the technology sector.
- At least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role within an enterprise environment.
- Experience in deploying on-premises and cloud infrastructure to support server-side services on platforms like Azure and AWS.
- Knowledge of endpoint security, enterprise mobility, and mobile/wireless solutions.
- Experience in designing and engineering gold load server and client images for deployment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both individual contributors and senior leadership.
- Demonstrated capability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong organizational skills in client documentation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Security Clearance:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
