Machinist Technician

At Aerotek, we're seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality parts that meet our customers' specifications.

• Set up and operate computer-controlled machine tools to produce precision parts, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  
• Use precision measuring tools to inspect and verify the quality of finished parts, identifying any discrepancies or defects.
  
• Load and unload parts from machines, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
  
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to understand and interpret technical drawings, ensuring that parts meet specifications.
  
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machine tools, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  
• Assist with the assembly and installation of custom-designed equipment, working closely with other teams to ensure successful project completion.
  

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment.
  
• Strong understanding of precision machining principles and techniques.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
