As a key member of our Lift Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our lifts, providing exceptional guest service, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of lifts, including pre-operational checks and maintenance
- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to customer complaints and concerns
- Assist with scheduling and staffing, ensuring adequate coverage for lift operations
- Collaborate with the Lift Operations Manager to communicate employee relations concerns and resolve issues
- Transportation of lift operators and assisting staff to assigned stations
- Snow removal, ramp maintenance, and lift line maze management
- Proper documentation of lift-related incidents, following Powder Mountain policies and procedures
- Assist with shutdown procedures, ensuring no guests are left on the line
- Ensure compliance with ANSI B77 standards, Utah Tram Board rules and regulations, and Powder Mountain policies and procedures
- 2-3 years' experience in lift operations at Powder Mountain or another ski resort
- Prior supervisory experience
- High school diploma required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to work early mornings, occasional overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays as requested
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficient in Google Workspace
- Good work ethic, dependability, and excellent customer service and communication skills
- Leadership qualities and a respect for staff
