Snowcat Operator

Powder Mountain is a year-round resort and real estate development project nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Northern Utah. We're seeking a skilled Snowcat Operator to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional skiing and snowboarding experiences.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in snowcat operations, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality. They will be responsible for grooming all Powder Mountain trails and slopes, utilizing their expertise to minimize trail closures and maintain optimal snow quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate snowcats safely and efficiently to groom trails and slopes
• Conduct routine maintenance on snowcats and log any repairs or damages
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
• Work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call to meet the demands of the resort

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in snowcat operations
• Meets and exceeds all Level 3 grooming expectations
• Advanced skiing or snowboarding ability
• Great communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
