Minnesota Urology P.A. is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team.

This role is based in our Plymouth, MN location.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Regular Daytime Hours, No Evenings, Weekends, or Holidays Required

Key Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant or LPN will be responsible for providing essential care, which includes assisting medical professionals with various procedures and tests. This role may require travel to satellite facilities, delivering patient education, and ensuring effective communication with patients and the clinical team. Responsibilities also include managing patient calls and supporting clinic staff.


Specific Duties May Include:

  • Conducting routine office procedures and tests safely and effectively.
  • Communicating courteously and promptly with patients via phone and in-person.
  • Accurately documenting all information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Identifying patient education needs and providing relevant information.
  • Maintaining professional communication with providers, clinic management, colleagues, and patients.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (MA, RMA, CMA, NCMA, CCMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
  • A minimum of one year of clinical experience as an LPN or Medical Assistant is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred but can be obtained post-hire.
