Job Summary

The Warehouse/Shipping and Receiving Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution processes. This position is responsible for managing inventory, receiving and processing shipments, and coordinating the movement of goods to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, identify and report discrepancies, and implement processes to improve inventory control.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Receive and verify shipments, process paperwork, and coordinate the loading and unloading of goods.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate the movement of goods to meet customer demands, ensure timely delivery, and maintain communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Material Handling: Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move goods safely and efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage or defects, and report any issues to the relevant teams.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management preferred.
  • Skills: Organizational skills, ability to read and analyze information, proficiency with prioritizing and meeting deadlines, and excellent time management.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
